What do you think of these name combos?

Daphne Marie= Daphne is my aunts name, Marie is my middle name



Aidan Amaury= Amaury is my husbands middle name(Amaury is puerto rican)



The girls will share the same first letter as my first name, and the boys will share the same first name as my husbad's first name

What do you think of these name combos?
oh they're beautiful! and I love how you added the sentimental aspect to the names. It makes them that much more special for a special child. Congratulations!

Aidan Amaury flows well, but I have a few concerns.



1) Aidan is 43rd on the most popular names in 2005 (the new list for 2006 should be out on mother's day, so recheck.



2) Initials AA makes me think of Alcoholics Anonymous



If none of those bother you I'd say go ahead and name your son Aidan. It really is a good name, that means "Fire", so you might have your hands full :-)

Reply:i`M NOT KEEN ON DAPHNE. i WENT TO SCHOOL WITH A GIRL CALLED DAPHNE - AND SHE WAS ALWAYS KNOWN AS DAFTY - THAT`S WHAT EVERYONE CALLED HER - DAFTY - AND THEY DO TO THIS DAY - SHE`S IN HER 50`S NOW AND A NURSE. I`D SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT THAT ONE.

Aidan Amaury sounds fine. I did not know that Amaury has familial siginificance. So now that I know, I think it works great!
