Who is John's relations DOOL?

Okay, I'm totally confused now. First he was proved to be Roman Brady, then Forrest Alaimain, then it was reveiled that he was Daphne DiMera' s (Stefano's lover at the time) child by Lawence's father (Tony's half brother) now he is Stefano's half brother. If now he is younger than Stefano by 10 - 12 yrs. How could he be mistaken for Daphne's son. Also there is no mention of Eric Brady (not Sami's twin) the one who abused Kim.

Shawn Sr would be his maternal half uncle, as would Eric Brady. Shawn, Colleen and Eric also have a sister, Molly who is Colin Murphy's mother.



This means that John is first cousin to Roman, Kayla, and Kimberly. He is not a blood relation to Bo so he's not related to Bo, Shawn, Chelsea, Ciara or Zack.



He's a second cousin to Carrie, Sami, Eric, Cassie, Rex, Jeannie, Andrew, and Stephanie.

As such, he'd be third cousins with Allie and Johnny.



DiMera's:

John is Stefano's half brother and therefore the paternal half uncle of Lexie, EJ, Benjy, and all the DiMera kids.



He's also Johnny's great uncle.



He was adopted by the Alamains while in an orphanage in Argentina by Lawrence's parents. Lawrence's mother, Philomena and Stefano's common law wife, Daphne are sisters. I'm not too sure how that's going to be explained at all, but it could have just been a story that either Stefano made up, or that Daphne and Philomena made up as well.

John is a Brady and a DiMera. Good vs Evil. Today Steve said hopeful the Brady genes are stronger/ Good things are to come upon what I have read.

Reply:Very good point about Eric Brady. Once that whole storyline came out, there wasn't much mention of him. I read somewhere that it's presumed that Shawn Brady totally disowned him and Eric was dead to him after that. Though I do find it strange that after Shawn and Colleen's reunion, there hasn't been ANY mention of him. Now, instead of being Tony's half brother, he's now his uncle. And you're right, it makes no sense about the Daphne story. Good observations.!!
