Which version of vivian banks from the fresh prince of bel air do you prefer and why?

janet hubert-whitten (1990-1993) or daphne reid (1993-96) and why?

i personally prefer the first one myself, wasn't that keen on the vivian of the latter series of the show. janet's vivian was a lot more sassier, fiesty and had attitude, whereas daphne's lacked those qualities

Which version of vivian banks from the fresh prince of bel air do you prefer and why?
I can appreciate Daphne Reid as an actress but I think Janet Hubert Whitten is a hard act to follow. She brought the character to life and it's always hard trying to step into someone else's shoes and make the character your own.
Reply:I enjoyed the first mom, I guess I was so used to seeing her that's why it was hard to take on Daphne Reid. I read that Janet Hubert-Whitten left the show because of Will Smith constant stupidity on the set. I don't find him that funny, he is rather annoying at times.

Reply:The first one was way better and acted properly. The second one was ok, but she wasnt fiesty enough so they gave her less lines.

Reply:I deffinantly prefer Janet Hubert-Whitten in the first one. I think Daphne Reid's acting was pretty pathetic in the later seasons.
