A. Bill: "Big Macs are definitely a private good, because you can't eat them unless you pay for them, and when I eat one, that's one less for everyone else."
B. Daphne: "Big Macs are a public good, because they aren't rival, since my consumption still leaves plenty of Big Macs for everyone else."
C. Freddy: "Big Macs are a private good, since they are neither rival nor excludable."
D. Velma: "Big Macs must be a public good, since they are sold out in the open, without any limits placed on their sale by the government."
Whether Big Macs from McDonald's are a public good or a private good?
the answer i A because
public good means which benefits everyone like the public higways, that a public good, if a person pay more taxes it does not mean he has more areahe can drive on.
private goods are the goods which benefit the person who pay for it, like the big mac, you pay for it you eat, you you buy that big mac it doesn't benefit anyone than you.
in case of public goods, if i pay my taxes everybody benefits
hope this help!!!!!!!!!1
