Why did rick shoot his head?....?

rick is a successful stock brocker in the U.S .after finishing all his work on that day he decided to go home and take manhattan road instead,while walking he came across fred, his college school mate. rick and fred talked a minute or two then finally departed way..On his way home he was able to pass by an exotic resto and decided to drop by..The mater dei gave him the menu and asked for his order. Rik ordered a penguin soup and while waiting for his order he decide to have at drink at the resto bar. He met daphne, the bartender. he ordered just a glass of water. ASfter 5 minute, he was called by the mater dei to inform him that his order was already laid on his table. So rick finally went through his table,sit for a while and take a deep breath. Rick finally decided to sip a spoonfull of the penguin soup. After that, he thinks deeply and laid his spoon on the table,get his wallet and laid the hundred bucks on the table and left the resto.
