1. loneliness. not necessarily loneliness in a romantic way, but just like, loneliness in life. the kinda loneliness that makes you think, "what the f*ck is wrong with my life?"
2. jealousy. again, not necessarily jealousy in a romantic way. i'm basically talking about jealousy that's so intense that you're so preoccupied with it you can't concentrate on anything else.
any genre is fine, but if it helps, my favorite band at the moment is the shins. :]
i also LOVE vampire weekend, arcade fire, daphne loves derby, and the bravery.
thanks in advance.
What are some good songs that are about...?
Mr. Brightside by The Killers is about jealousy! it's about him being so jealous that he make up in his head that his girl is cheating on him when she really isn't. and it's a really good song!
Reply:sort of a different direction but Nothing to Lose by Billy Talent is pretty sad and lonely
Reply:"Mr. Brightside" by The Killers is a good song about jealousy. My boyfriend listens to them as well as Arcade Fire and the Bravery, so I'm guessing they're considered the same genre.
Reply:1. "Solitude" by Black Sabbath. It's even in the name.
Lyrics:
My name it means nothing
my fortune is less
My future is shrouded in dark wilderness
Sunshine is far away, clouds linger on
Everything I possessed - Now they are gone
Oh where can I go to and what can I do?
Nothing can please me only thoughts are of you
You just laughed when I begged you to stay
I've not stopped crying since you went away
The world is a lonely place - you're on your own
Guess I will go home - sit down and moan.
Crying and thinking is all that I do
Memories I have remind me of you
