Help with latin homework!!!!?
The nymph Daphne lives in the forests of Thessaly. She is very likeable because she is gorgeous. Many of the nymphs want to get married, but Daphne always refuses to marry.

"I want to be free," she says. "My love is for the forest alone: I refuse to marry."

But nearby in the woods the little god Cupid lives, because Cupid also loves to be around the forest.

One day Cupid is walking in the woods; in his quiver he carries arrows of gold and lead. The little boy sees the god Apollo the Radiant.

Apollo laughingly says, "You carry many arrows in your quiver, but the arrows can't kill animals. You have a big quiver, but in the quiver are tiny golden and leaden arrows."

Cupid quickly takes a golden arrow. The arrow pierces the Radiant One. Soon Apollo the Radiant sees the pretty nymph Daphne: at once, the god wants to marry the Nymph.

"I love you, Daphne," says the Radiant One. "A golden arrow from a little god has wounded me. I'm the god of medicine, but no medicine can cure me. You alone can cure me. I love you: I want to marry you."

The frightened Daphne races to the woods. Apollo also runs.

When Daphne can run no more, the frightened nymph says: "Help me, good gods! Change my shape. Then Apollo won't like me."

Immediately the good gods change the shape of the nymph. No more does Daphne have hair, but now leaves. No more arms does she have, but branches. Daphne is a gorgeous laurel tree.

Apollo sees the lovely laurel and says, "You no longer are a nymph, but I love you, Daphne. You are my laurel, and crowns of laurel will always be the sign of victors."

You're lucky I was bored tonight...
