Do you like the RENT broadway version, or movie version?
well i personally like the movie. again with the songs. ha your right daphne sux!! lol love rent.... seasons of love.....my fav!!
Reply:i think Rosario Dawson makes a Much better Mimi

its kind of Hard becuz they are both such great shows like the Movie is wonderful they casted alll the right people it was perfect but the play is also wonderful i mean in the movie they cut out 2 very powerful songs Halloween and Goodbye Love Report It
Reply:I enjoyed the movie very much...but think it should have been rated R not PG 13. My daughter's 14 and I will not let her see it.
Reply:I like both versions and I think Rosario has a better voice than Daphne; but overall I like Daphne's version of Mimi better. She seems to fit the part more.
Reply:The Broadway version was better, although I saw it after the original cast had already left. The minimalist staging and the compressed time of the first act made it much more edgy. Columbus' version was way too sanitized.
Reply:I liked the movie version as well. I though they could do so much more with the sets and the singing was great. The streets of New York (or the set) were much more interesting than the play. Although both versions are quite good.
Reply:i luvv rent i like the broadway version better but i dont think ive ever seen the other one
Reply:The Broadway version..no contest. One of the best shows I've seen.
Reply:Broadway
Reply:Most definately Broadway...it was meant to be a play not a movie and the writer was so into the play b/c it was his life and his friends...but both of them are wonderful I love Rent!
Reply:Broadway
