I love, love, LOVE him...but he's my friend...?

ok so im 13 %26amp; im in 8th grade. Im not popular but im not a geek, call me middle class. I really like my friend chris. Some ppl say they think he likes me. Ive told only 2 ppl i like him, kathy and angel. they both think he might like me and angel says she thinks wed b a cute couple. Im crazy for him and he likes me, but probably just as a friend. We talk all the time and whenever we have mix-up day in chorus we all ways sit next to each other. And we usually walk together to lunch (with other people) and sometimes we walk to the busses together. but he seems so obsessed with nina. though, according to angel he doesnt like nina, he likes daphne. but she still said she thinks I should ask him out. but asking ppl out, especially ppl im close to, is a really big deal for me. I cant just ask him to join me and my friends somewhere cause my friends kinda shun him, and theyd be weirded out (not angel so much) by that and id probably have to offer a explanation. What should i do?HELP PLEASE!

I think you should go for it. and if he says no then just try to still be friends. It will probably hurt at first if he rejects you, but you'll soon get over it. nothing ventured nothing gained
Reply:u should ask him out before another girl beats u to it just say u wanna hang out at the movies with me tonight and whats the worse he can say so just ask him or sum other girl will beat u to it and then u wont get a change good luck
Reply:go to the movies or something, but with him and a couple other friends, but make sure he's not one of the only guys going. then after whats a fair number? 2 times going some place start decreasing the numbers for the next couple 'group- friend' dates. then after a date with just like a total of 5 people ask him out. ignore all the "he likes you" "He likes nina" "blah blah blah" just ignore it. just try and set a 4 month time table. if you aren't willing to wait at least 3 months to go out with him then you're either crazy with love or clearly don't love him enough to have a good relationship
