Bedroom decoration ideas for a 13-year old?

i am planning to completely redo my room. but i have NO idea what i want for it.. i had originally thought i should paint it navy blue but i figured that it shouldnt be super dark.. my favorite colors are navy blue and turqoise. i love music theres a piano (keyboard) in my room, i usually have my room covered with pics of my favorite bands like (daphne loves derby, death cab for cutie, jack's mannequin, etc) i am 13.. do u have any ideas of how i should design my room? what colors, furniture, etc? thanks so much

Reply:i think it will be fine if you remodel now, just make sure you can change it up a bit if you dont like it later on.

Reply:I think since you like music so much, I would paint the walls white, then free hand a stylized keyboard all accross the walls in a horizontal fashion...then put splashes of color in the room and the accessories. I would also frame the posters in black and mat them in white. I would use a shag fur type rug on the floor and brightly colored bean bag chairs and cushions. I would use a black bedspread on the bed and then use brightly colored pillows on the bed. Hope you enjoy doing your room over.
Reply:Awh...honestly i'd wait until you're in highschool. If you redo everything now I think you'll dislike it in a few short years and have to do it again. You'll find that your taste changes when you grow up! If anything, just get some new posters and maybe new furniture if you'd like. Nothing too drastic though! w/e you can do what you want, i just thought i'd tell you what i think =] good luck and have fun with whatever you do
Reply:you can paint your room in stripes one color being navy blue and the other turqoise. Put your pictures on the wall then get a really cool table with some chairs.
